An Extensive Home Care Manual is given to all homebuyers when purchasing a Keystone Home. Within this manual you can find a detailed outline of your extensive warranty along with helpful tips on how to maintain your home, and much more.

Keystone Homes provides warranty coverage for your new home, and we're here to help. Our processes allow us to take care of you with our well-trained Service Coordinators who take your calls, assess your needs, schedule your repairs and ensure all work is completed within a timely manner, to our qualified Service Technicians who make repairs and oversee our trades, you arewell looked after. 

Your PROGRESSIVE HOME warranty consists of the following: 1 Year Workmanship and Material: The Program warrants that, during the first year, the Registered Builder will repair Defects in Materials and Workmanship. Materials and Workmanship covered by the Program include those supplied and installed by the Keystone Homes, its employees and those trades and others contracted directly by the Keystone Homes. 

2 Year Delivery and Distribution Systems: Offers coverage for defects in materials and labour related to delivery and distribution systems including heating, electrical and plumbing systems. 

5 Year Building Envelope Coverage: Offers coverage against defects in the building envelope. 

10 Year Structural: Offers the purchaser coverage against structural defects for a period of 10 years starting on the warranty commencement date. For more information regarding your warranty please refer to the Builder Warranty section in this portion of the manual.

Deposit Coverage

The Program provides coverage in relation to down payments provided to Registered Builder Members, up to a maximum of $25,000 per new home. 

What happens if I sell my home?

If the home is sold during the warranty period, any remaining coverage stays with the home for the benefit of subsequent buyers. An excellent selling feature! 

What about those Builders who offer their own Warranty?

A Builder's own warranty is only as good as the level of service the company wishes to provide or for as long as the company remains in business.

First Year of Ownership

Within the first year you own your new home, it is not uncommon for you to encounter some minor problems such as cracks from shifting and settling. . Keep track of any deficiencies you encounter and Keystone Homes will do a final inspection a couple months prior to your one year anniversary in the event of a warranty claim.
